Boom — lightning struck him, knocked him out cold for like 20 minutes! When he woke up, he felt all shaky and his hearing aid was fried… but somehow, he could see again. Turns out, his blindness might’ve been from trauma, but after that lightning strike, his sight (and even hearing) stayed totally fine for decades!
