A lot of people ask me why I don’t hold my trade positions overnight. I’d have to get up early for that, and I’m not a morning person. I’d rather be up at night filming these video lessons for you. I work non-stop so you don’t have to. Don’t get me wrong — you should definitely still study your butt off. But if I put out these lessons for you, I can help speed up your learning curve. Just to recap, my profits for April were over $42K.** That’s built up from lots of small gains. I also keep my losses small by cutting them quickly. And surprisingly, I actually went short on a trade — I’ll tell you about that in this video. Plus, I’ll show you my most notable trades for April. As for the short, Co-Diagnostics Inc. (NASDAQ: $CODX) had some negative news. I typically look for stocks that link to boiler rooms when I decide to short … And this one happened to pop up. Ageagle Aerial Systems Inc (NYSE: $UAVS) was another stock that tanked after its conference call was a bust. But a lot of people thought this company was legit. I traded it, but only on a dip buy. And it was a small percentage. I’m glad I didn’t hold that one. This is why I always say to buy the rumor and sell the news. Never fall in love with the companies in this niche. You can’t predict how they’ll move. What’s more predictable is the price action — especially if you’ve studied the past and seen similar price charts and patterns. It’s important to understand why a stock is up, but you have to stay focused. Don’t get distracted with other news. A lot of these trades deserve a closer look.
