Even though the time change and jet lag are making me sleepy, it’s been a great week … My 50th school just opened today, and I’m currently doing more work with Save the Reef. I’ve been trying to do some more handheld type videos. Yeah, I’m a talker. I can ramble sometimes. But I think there can be great information found in those subtle moments. What do you think? Do you like these short videos? Comment below if you do. The whole point of these videos is to be real. I always want to be REAL with you. Plenty of traders claim they’ve made millions. My response? PROVE IT. Show me EVERY TRADE. I want to see it all. Not screenshots of your profits — the entire plan. How much you risked, how much you actually put in. You need to be transparent! If you’re not transparent, I just assume you’re fake. I show my tax returns and audits, every single trade, and my students’ results. It doesn’t get more real deal than that. Today, I’m addressing one of the most common questions people love to ask me: “Tim, what’s a stock I can buy right now?” If you ask this question, you need to answer these questions first: Do you want to be a smart, self-sufficient trader? Do you want to avoid the common pitfalls that make traders blow up their accounts? Do you want to be in this game for the long term? Since I love to keep it real, let me be blunt … If you have a ‘show me the money’ mentality… … you don’t see the countless hours I’ve put into understanding the market — reading, learning, studying, teaching. For the past 20 years, I’ve invested in myself. Not just in a monetary sense, but in terms of studying and making myself better. Forget learning from newbies. They don’t know what they’re doing yet. And even with the best of intentions, they’re teaching flawed strategies. Sorry, but newbies just don’t have enough experience to teach.
