Many animals migrate over really long distances in search of food or water. But which animal walks the most? We know that you love cool facts about animals, so we've prepared for you a list of creatures that cover the shortest and greatest distances. For example, sloths typically cover 41 yards in a day – less than half the length of a football field. But they’re great swimmers and can get through the water 3 times faster than they move on land! Some swifts can fly over 105 mph and travel several hundred miles a day. They can be airborne for 10 months at a time! How many wings does one aircraft need? The engineers of a huge flying boat called the Caproni Ca.60 would answer “9 and no less!” This winged boat was supposed to fit 100 passengers and fly over the Atlantic back in the early 1920s.
