Here’s another stock that I alerted before it spiked… Halberd Corp. (OTCPK: $HALB) was in my buy alert. And then in two days, this stock’s price went up SEVEN TIMES. I’ll admit I underestimated this stock, but that’s nothing new. And I’m still glad that I alerted it and was able to take a position. The key takeaway here isn’t that you should start following my alerts … You won’t live up to your full trading potential if you do that. I want you to learn the characteristics of stocks that I choose and why. That’s why I make these videos each trading day. That’s when the information is fresh in my mind. They’re being promoted on Twitter and websites with stock-related information. In fact, most crappy stocks are promoted. And people receive monetary compensation for doing so. Don’t think that if you learn which companies or users are pumping stocks on Twitter that you’ve got it all figured out. These people constantly change their usernames, Twitter handles, and websites. They’re slippery and slimy … They’d be hard to catch without some help. Don’t get me wrong! Stock pumps are very important to me — I need them to do their job. But as a trader, you have to be able to tell the difference between a blatant stock pump and a stock that’s actually spiking on a valid catalyst. I don’t want you to fall victim to a stock pump — that’s what this video is for. So how can you improve your radar and better identify which stocks are being promoted for no good reason? It definitely has the legs to do so, but it’s not guaranteed. In this video, I’ll also go into detail on this stock: Alternet Systems, Inc. (OTCPK: $ALYI). This particular company kept putting out press releases, which kinda made it lose some credibility. People ask me why I would trade a stock like this. It’s sketchy, so it doesn’t make sense to newbies. But if you think about it … most penny stocks are sketchy. That doesn’t mean there’s no potential upside. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Keep in mind that as a trader, you want volatility… And with a sketchy stock, the company may try to use tactics to try to move its stock — regardless of how legit its fundamentals are. Remember that if you can start to see the possible outcomes of the company’s moves, you can be better prepared to either trade the stock or leave it alone. That’s how you take advantage of shady companies. Expect the worst and you’ll never be disappointed. And also keep in mind that if you understand what a multi-day runner looks like, that can help you make that decision. It’s important for you to see how it spiked initially, how I traded it, and why. And in this video, you can see how the stock’s chart plays out after the spike. The pattern I mention here is my favorite pattern. That’s because it rarely fails — when you’re ready for it. I like to look at multiple time frames when I’m reading charts. It can be helpful if you understand how a stock behaves over a certain period of time. Then, you can start to make connections on what time the patterns tend to play out. And I actually used the VWAP on this stock … Not familiar with that indicator? I explain it here. I don’t always use the VWAP. But in this particular trade, it was useful. You can see when the stock is overextended as well as some support zones. As you’re watching this video, pay attention to how it relates to my seven-step framework if you’re familiar with it. The other day, I managed to make about $12K* on this stock that I alerted when it was still near the bottom. But I took a position after it was up already. And I’m showing you this because penny stocks generate so much hate that most people don’t realize how much opportunity there can be in this niche. That means if you become one of the few who master penny stocks, there won’t be as much competition… And less competition means more chances for you to nail plays. But don’t get me wrong… It takes a while for a trader to find consistency in this business. You really have to be dedicated if you wanna be like any of my top students. But I’m here to teach you these lessons so you can get there faster than if you had to learn all this stuff on your own. I wanted to make this video on one of the best trades I’ve had in a while. It was also the best alert I’ve sent out recently AND the best lesson from my recent trades. Very few people see the opportunity in this market. That’s because they haven’t studied and because they’re only paying attention to stocks during normal market hours. And this stock, Greenpro Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: $GRNQ), was actually a premarket trade. I know. I rarely trade in premarket hours, but you really have to be open to and prepared for any opportunity. I didn’t even capitalize as much as I could have. That’s OK … It was still a really great trade. And I have a lot of students who can only trade part-time or premarket, so this stock was great for them. These are things to keep in mind as you’re learning what works for you specifically… You have to tailor your trading techniques to your schedule and habits. Trading isn’t an exact science. It’s definitely not ‘one size fits all.’ Tune in for more lessons from this trade! Think of yourself as a scientist… Be curious about what’s working in the market and how you can take advantage of it. Tweaking your strategy and recognizing what’s working should be your priority. And if you see a stock that looks good premarket, that’s something you should be ready for beforehand. Yet another reason to be prepared. One or two great trades per month can help you stay in the game. And if you’re studying in your free time, you make it that much easier for yourself to spot them when they appear.
