There were many kinds of mosasaurs. The smallest was a mere 3 ft long. The average length was 13 ft at the most. They weren't dinosaurs. These creatures were reptiles. Their close relatives are snakes and monitor lizards. They had short limbs with webbing between fingers and wide tails with broad triangular plates on them. While swimming, the critter kept its body stiff to reduce the drag through the water. The only thing that was moving was its mighty tail. Mosasaurs needed air. That's the reason they preferred shallow coastal waters. They eat pretty much anything: from fish and mollusks to sea birds and turtles. Mosasaurs went extinct about 66 million years ago. But have you ever thought about what the ocean would be like if the mosasaurs were still alive? Kayla Itsines’s Sweat App Launches Barre and Yoga Workouts Featuring New Badass Trainers



We're already big fans of Kayla Itsines's fitness app Sweat and the muscle-building, fat-blasting, and heart-pumping workouts it features. We love that some workouts are bodyweight-only, while others require minimal equipment (think: just one set of dumbbells). And while the focus has primarily been on strength training and cardio, there are other workouts fans have been requesting — and Sweat listened. Starting today, Sweat now offers two new workouts: yoga and barre. These styles of training are perfect for people looking for something more low-impact or to supplement other training plans. The best part? All of these workouts are designed to be done at home. The workouts will be led by a crop of new trainers, all with their own expertise and experience. The new barre program, Barre with Britany, will be led by Sweat instructor Britany Williams who is from Portland, OR.
