The mountains are a treasure to observe already, but if you can also find an actual treasure while hiking as a bonus? A French mountaineer who climbed the Mont Blanc stumbled upon a metal box packed to the brim with precious jewels worth about $250,000. This isn't the first time that the Alps have given up some of their secrets, though.
